The Vauxhall Insignia VXR SuperSport (pictured) gets tweaked for 2014
If you want a swift and able car that costs under £30k, then the Vauxhall Insignia VXR SuperSport, as a hatch or Sports Tourer (estate) should be a car to consider. An now it’s had a tweak for 2014 to make it a bit more appealing in line with the tweaks to the rest of the Insignia range. The changes aren’t really enough to call this a facelift for the SuperSport, but despite the very minor cosmetic tweaks the changes under the skin are worthy of note.
A just-released Internet video pits two Akrapovic-tuned BMWs against one another to see which is faster--the two-door BMW M3 coupe or the BMW 1000 RR motorcycle. The Fiat 500X is an SUV based on the same platform as the 500L, and we’ve got a sneak peek of it at a press event in Italy. Fiat are determined to extend the 500 franchise with an extended range of models, such as the Fiat 500L we saw officially launched earlier today. Next up will be the Fiat 500X, a crossover come SUV based on the same Punto platform as the new 500L and aimed at the same market place as the MINI Countryman.
